OneTaq Quick-Load DNA Polymerase is an optimized, ready-to-use blend of Taq and Deep Vent DNA Polymerases ideally suited to routine PCR applications from a variety of templates, including pure DNA solutions, bacterial colonies and cDNA products. The 3' to 5' exonuclease activity of Deep Vent DNA Polymerase increases the fidelity and robust amplification of Taq DNA Polymerase. The convenient quick-load buffer contains two commonly used tracking dyes for direct loading of PCR products on DNA gels. On a 1% agarose gel in 1X TBE, Xylene Cyanol FF migrates at ~4 kb and Tartrazine migrates at ~10 bp. Both dyes are present in concentrations that do not mask comigrating DNA bands.

LAMDA BIOTECH INC HotStart Taq DNA Polymerase
The HotStart Taq DNA Polymerase is a chemically modified Taq DNA Polymerase, whose enzyme activities can only be activated after 3-5 minutes of incubation at 94o C. The HotStart Taq Polymerase uses amplification conditions for regular Taq DNA Polymerase, except no polymerase activity will be present before the onset of thermal cycling. This prevents nonspecific DNA amplification and primer dimer formation. The amplified products, up to 6Kb in length, contain single 3’-overhanging-A ends. This allows for TA cloning methods, if the amplified fragments need to be cloned.

Thermus aquaticus DNA Polymerase (Taq DNA Polymerase) is a thermostable enzyme which can replicate DNA at 74oC and remain active even after incubation at 95oC. It has very strong 5’-3’ DNA polymerase activity with a fast extension rate. Although it lacks any 3’-5’ exonuclease activity (and therefore proofreading ability), Taq DNA polymerase remains one of the most widely used enzymes in molecular biology. Lamda Biotech’s bacterially derived Taq DNA Polymerase is unique for strong activity and low background in DNA amplification. This enzyme is purified from bacteria. Users should be cautious when dealing with bacteria DNA sequences.

Bsu DNA Polymerase I, Large Fragment retains the 5' to 3' polymerase activity of the Bacillus subtilis DNA polymerase I, but lacks the 5' to 3' exonuclease domain. This large fragment naturally lacks 3' to 5' exonuclease activity.
